1. SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE: Transient behavior, Reactance's and time constants, symmetric short circuit concept of stability and equal area criteria.

2. SPECIAL MACHINES: Linear induction motor, Reluctance motor, hysterias moter, stepper motor, homopolar machines, Brushless motor. Concept of Vector Controlled Motors.

3. TRANSFORMERS: There phase transformers connections and phasor groups, three phase to 6 phase and twelve phase conversion, excitation phenomenon in transformers, transformer transients, over voltages in transformers.
