Introduction to Modeling and simulation using MAT LAB. 

  1. RANDOM NUMBERS: Meaning and Generation.

1.1  To generate Random Number sequence uniformly distributed in the interval (0, I)

1.2  To generate RN sequences with arbitrary distributions, means and variances :

(a)             Rayleigh distribution

(b)             Binomial & Poission distribution.

(c)             Nonnal distributions: N(O, 1)

(d)             Gaussion distributions: N(mx3 ox2)

1.3  To plot the probability density functions and find mean and variance.

  1. SIGNAL AND SYSTEMS:

1.1  To generate elementary signals like unit impulse, unit step, exponential and ramp.

1.2  To carry out convolution in both continuous time and discrete time systems.

1.3  To design & simulata FIR filters.

1.4  To Find autocorrelation between signals and sequences.

  1. Digital Modulation:

3.1 2. To transmit & receive signals in the presence of Additive white geussion noise (AWGN) using ASK & PSK.
