  1. THE 8051 MICRO CONTROLLER: Introduction, The 8051 micro controller hardware, 1/O pins. Port, External memory Counters and Timers, Serial data Interrupts.

  2. 8051 ASSEMBLY LANGUAGE PROGRAMMING: Addressing modes, External data moves. push and popopcodes. Logical operations. Byte level and bit level logical operation. Arthrnetie operations. Jump and  call instructions. Interrupts & returns.

  3. REAL WORLD INTERFACING: Interfacing of LCD, ADC 10 8051

  4. INTRODUCTION TO REAL- TIME OPERATING SYSTEMS: Round robin with interrupts, RTOS Architecture, Task and task states, Semaphores and shared data.

  5. BASIC DESIGN USING RTOS: Encapsulating Semaphores and Queues, Saving Memory Space, Saving power.
