INTRODUCTION

‘BITS N BYTES’ will put your programming skills, logic application & ability to the ultimate test. The team will be provided a set of problems with varying difficulty and varying weightage. Solve them out; beat your opponents before the coming of the dawn!

RULES:

• Participation – 2 members per team

• Language – C/C++

• The event consists of two phases: the preliminary and the main round.

• Any team found in any unfair means, damaging the hardware / software in any sort of way will be disqualified and penalized.

• The organizers can add, modify or remove the above mentioned rules without any prior notice.

PRELIMS

1. The preliminary round will be conducted on paper & will consist of a set of questions based on C/C++ programming, programming logic etc.

2. A limited no of teams shall be selected from the prelims based on their score.

3. The score of the prelims might impact the final score.

MAINS

1. Final round is programming round.

2. Two programs will be there:

a) A general program.

b) A theme based program.

3. Every team will be allotted one computer.

4. Teams will have to submit their executable file on the computer they have been allocated.

5. They will be judged on the different standards set by the mentor’s team.

6. Judges decision will be final.
