Undergraduate Programs - Eligibility Criteria
The following is the list of undergraduate B. Tech. programs running in the institute at present.
Mechanical Engineering Computer
Science and Engineering Electrical
Engineering (at Main Campus only) Electronics
and Communication Engineering.
Civil
Engineering (at East Campus only)
The admissions are on the basis of guidelines of AICTE through the RPET/AIEEE system and under the present norms the BMIT offers its courses under three categories:
(i) RPET seats 70% (through centralized counseling conducted by RPET)
(ii) AIEEE seats 15% (through centralized counseling conducted by RPET)
(iii) Management seats 15%
Further the minimum mandatory qualifications required includes:
Passed the examination of 10+2 (Class XII or equivalent) with min 60% (for management seats)
Subject combination in the 10+2 (Class XII or equivalent) has to be
Compulsory Subjects - Physics & Mathematics
Optional Subjects - Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology
Age limit - As per the guidelines provided by the Admission Committee.
