In order to bridge the gap between industry and academia, the students have undergone various technical programs like Infosys Campus Connect program wherein they have learnt the latest technologies and standards.
Various technical workshops like Read Hat Academy, Oracle etc. were conducted to give practical exposure to the students.

As regard the earlier recruitments by leading IT companies, BMITians have been recruited by all major IT and other recruiters. Some of the major recruiters of the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 batches include IBM, Satyam, Oracle, I-Flex, Hexaware, Wipro, HCL, Syntel, Infosys, L & T Infotech, Birlasoft, Mastek etc.

Industrial tour to companies like Infosys, NavBackOffice, World Trade Park etc. were organized to give student a feeling of industrial environment.
Regular technical activities like Ultima Tryst, Fest, Hostel Technical Week etc. were organized parallel to their academic curriculum to develop qualities like teamwork and leadership among the students.

Regular aptitude test conducted during their curriculum have made these students expert at reasoning and logical skills.
Students underwent rigorous practical sessions on programming languages like C, C++, Java, Oracle, Databases (after hours) in order to prepare them for their interviews in IT sector.

Students were exposed to several technical seminars and underwent courses through NPTEL recorded lectures (by IIT reverent professors) to raise their knowledge standard high.

Special soft skill classes were organized by corporate training experts to teach these students proper industry etiquettes and behavior and to make them prepared for their interviews.
A total of 313 students will be passing out in this session (by May 2009).

Approx. 62% of students secured more then 70 % marks, 36 % students secured between 60-70% marks and less then 2% of students were below 60 % slab.
All the inducted students at BMIT undergo a professionally tailor made communication skills enhancement program vocational module designed by leading management firm IMS.
Communication skill classes were made compulsory at all semesters to keep these students ready for their interviews.
A total of 218 students will be passing out in this session (by May 2008).
Branch wise breakup of these students is Computer Engineering: 65, Information Technology: 73, Electronics & Communication: 73 & Electrical Engineering: 35.
